Nature of the System

MIDMS™ (The MERGE Integration Diagnostic Mapping System) and The MERGE Lab™ are independently developed, proprietary educational, research, and transformational systems. They were conceived, created, and developed exclusively by Dr. Dorothy W. Parker as original intellectual works.

Institutional Independence

These systems are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operating under the authority of any traditional academic institution, government-recognized accreditation body, or professional licensing board. MIDMS™ operates as an independent proprietary framework with its own internal standards, training structure, and certification criteria.

Credentials and Certification

MIDMS™ does not issue government-recognized academic degrees, diplomas, or professional credentials of any kind. Certificates of completion issued through The MERGE Lab™ represent successful participation in a proprietary training program and are not equivalent to — nor should they be represented as — degrees or licenses issued by accredited universities or regulatory bodies.

Non-Clinical Scope

MIDMS™ and The MERGE Lab™ do not provide clinical, medical, psychological, psychiatric, or licensed therapeutic services of any kind. The system is designed as an educational and self-development mapping framework. It is not a substitute for licensed professional care and should not be used or represented as such.

Practitioner Obligations

Practitioners and students trained through The MERGE Lab™ are required to clearly communicate the nature and scope of MIDMS™ to all clients and participants. They are prohibited from misrepresenting the system as a licensed clinical, medical, or government-accredited service.

Integrity and Transparency

The integrity of MIDMS™ rests upon transparency, ethical practice, and the accurate representation of its nature, purpose, and limitations. This institutional statement is published openly to ensure that all individuals who engage with The MERGE Lab™ — as students, clients, or practitioners — do so with a complete and accurate understanding of what the system is and is not.

Proprietary Framework

While MIDMS™ draws on a wide body of original research, observation, and experiential study conducted by Dr. Dorothy W. Parker, it is not positioned as an extension of any existing clinical or academic framework. It is an original proprietary system with its own diagnostic logic, language, and methodology.
